Happy New Year and Greetings from Paula:

Next week in Orlando, the American Society of Clinical Oncology 2008 Gastrointestinal Cancer Meeting takes place.  This is an important scientific meeting and researchers from around the world attend and present their recent research and study results.

At TRAC, we work on initiatives and projects in many types of cancer and disease.  Currently, we are gathering information on patient and family resources in breast cancer and will be compiling them in a resource for health professionals, patients, and caregivers.  If you have any special resources that have helped you, friends or colleagues when dealing with breast cancer, use the contact us page and share with us.  We may not be able to use everything you send, but we are committed to learning about all that is out there that patients use and rely upon.

This is noteworthy because this is the first time in the history of the country that a conference of this type has been convened.
